At the Northern Boxing Association's boxing carnival the chief events were two professional bouts one of 15 rounds, for a pui-ee of £2OO, between the welter weights, L. Lasher and A. Greaves, both Australians, and the other a tenround bout between the lightweights, F. Craig (Auckland) and E. Baxter (Australia). . The first fight resulted in a Wa w, and the lightweight contest was -n by Baxter on points. .
