NEW ZEALANDERS WIN A PAIRS MATCH. FIXTURES IN WALES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, April 26. At Forest Hill, the New Zealand howlers Orchard and Barnett played Robertson and Irvine Watson, both English internationals. The New Zealanders in six ends led by 13—0 on short jacks. The Englishmen , then made 11 on three ends on long jacks. The New Zealanders finally won by 24 to 20. The New Zealand howlers play four fixtures in Wales, including a Test game at Cardiff at the end of May. The bowlers will place a wreath at the cenotaph on Thursday prior to their departure for Southampton.
