FARMER’S FATAL ENCOUNTER WITH A BULL. T2R PREPS ASSOCIATION. NELSON. April 23. A farmer, named William Burton Smith, was gored to death by a bull at Stoke yesterday. He went down to attend a bull which was on a chain. The bull charged and tossed him, and the fall broke man’s neck. The chain became bound round the man, who was badly gored. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned.
