The Manning Committee has refused the request of the Ulimaroa’s crew for three additional firemen, but consented to an extra three on the Zealandia, three of six asked for ou the Katoomba, three of six asked for on the Canberra, and three additional trimmers on the Karvola. The Seamen’s Union lias issued instructions that the foregoing vessels axe to he manned when requested.
