Advices from Moscow state that the Caspian fleet has revolted. Bolshevik Commissars were thrown overboard. AGAINST KRONSTADT BRINGING UP THE HEAVY HOWITZERS. COPENHAGEN, March 14. Advices from Riga state that Trot, sky is bringing up heavy howitzers to Oranienbaum, which has been made the base of the Bolshevik attack on Kronstadt. The men at the aviation station at Kolssov attempted to join the rebels, and it is reported that forty-four of the men were executed. Trotsky asserts that Lettish, Finnish, and Esthonian sailors are responsible for the rebellion. PARIS, March 14. The Kronstadt rebels beat back Trotsky’s picked troops in their> repeated attempts to recapture the island. A whole regiment of “Reds’’ crossed the ifeo and joined the rebels. Kronstadt has declared itself an independent Soviet Republic. HELSINGFORS', March ' 14. It is reported that General Bu. deny’s cavalry was ordered northward, but joined the rebels and assisted in capturing Orel. AGAINST PETROGRAD FOOD CRISIS POSTPONES REBELS’ MARCH. Published in 'The Times." (Received March 16, 1.35 a.m.) LONDON, March 14. ‘The Times” Stockholm correspondent states that the intention to march the rebels against Petr.ograd has been postponed. It is announced that it will take place in combination with a similar movement from the south. This is probably due to the food situation, which is most critical in the case of both the revolutionaries and the Reds. A messenger from Kronstadt has arrived in Finland and is endeavouring to obtain immediate , supplies. Petrograd is threatened with famine. There is an atmosphere of general distrust and a fear that supplies from the provinces will not reach tho starving population. Moscow claims that two forts at Kronstadt were destroyed by fire from Petrograd. The cruiser Sevastopol moved to the outer harbour to silence Krasnajagorka-, from which place the fire is feeble and irregular. RUSSIA’S GOLD APPORTIONMENT TO POLAND. RIGA, March 14. The Russian and Polish Peace Conference has decided that Poland’s share of Russia’s gold shall be thirty million gold roubles, plus a similar sum in respect of rolling-6tock remaining in Poland.
