RESTAURANT-KEEPER’S RESPONSIBILITY.
AKPOCTATTON. AUCKLAND, March 15. Mr Justice Cooper dismissed, with costs, an appeal from Hamilton, the effect being to hold it illegal for a restaurant-proprietor to hire his restaurant to anybody for a social gatlierering at which liquor was consumed at a time when licensed premises are required by law to he closed.
