A meeting of linfbles9 soldiers in Web lington will be held shortly for the pur* poec of discussing several proposals concerning the improvement of their lot. These will include suggestions for the more efficient management and control of limb factories: the complete manufacture of artificial limbs at the variotis centres instead of their being made partly in one place and partly in another; the provision of an allowance for clothing, etc. These proposals are the result of a meeting of limbless meg at Christchurch recently ~ who circulated the suggestions amongst returned soldiers’ associations throughout the Dominion for consideration. A handsome gift has been made to the iocal branch of the Returned SOidiets’ Association by Mr S. P. Andrew, of Bartlett and Andrew, in the form of framed enlarged photographs of three well-known figures to members of the X.Z.K.T. —H.R. fi. the Prince of Wales, (iencral liirdwixnl. and Chap-lain-Captain f'iolden Taylor.
