ST. PATRICK'S DAY
SPORTS AND NATIONAL CONCERT. The committee is leaving nothing undone to make the celebration of the day. set aside for Ireland's Patron Stunt one worthy of the occasion. Both for the day and the evening of Thursday, March 17th, every hour is to be utilised. The Spiritual celebration wiij come first, then the procession, sports at Newtown Park, and national concert in the evening. Given fine weather, the outdoor part of the programme will be well worth witnessing. Besides the sports programme the other attractions at Newtown Park such as the spectacular drill ddsplav. dancing, side-shows and music should prove interesting. At the national concert at the Town. Hall in the evening, amongst the performers will be Mr Q. H. Andrews (Tima.ru), Mr H. F. Woods, the Lyric Four Quartette, Mr S. Warwick. Misses Teresa McEnroe, Fanny Morrison (Blenheim), and Mary MoBTeowen. St. Patrick's College Students' Choir. Mariet Brother®’ Schools’ Choir, and Braun d’s Orchestra.
