ALLEGED THEFT
CASES TAKEN FROM RAILWAY STATION. (Special to “Times.”) PALMERSTON N., March 10. In - connection with three cases of goods which were stolen from a railway wagon stationed at Awapuni siding recently, the police received a clue on Wednesday night, and searched certain premises and recovered two cases planted in a ehed at the rear of a house. Ae a result a man named Harry Levy Wolland, who is employed as a stoker at the local gasworks, appeared at the Police Court to-dfly ana was charged with having stolen on February 19th woollen goods to the value of £3BO, the property of Macky, Logan and Caldwell, Ltd. A remand was -wanted until Thursday nex*. -
