Details of the Indiana train wreck show .that a Canadian train, travelling at fifty miles an hour, was derailed crossing the New York central track. The central train, travelling at a speed of sixty mile® on hour, plunged into the derailed coaches. Several were telescoped. A previous message stated: It is reported that between thirty and forty people were killed and scores injured by the wreck of two passenger trains near Porter, Indiana.
