MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL. At the final meeting of the Miramar Borough r’-i— the Mayor, in addressing the i_.--.ucd, thanked the members of the council for the manner in which they had supported him in all business that had come before them. A H the councdlloTs present spoke of the harmonious and pleasant relations that had existed in the council during their term of office. It was mentioned that the Mayor, os the result of negotiations, had saved the council over £2OOO in' one transaction. It was unanimously decided to place on record the appreciation of the council of the services rendered to the borough by its various executive officers. The Town Clerk and the Borough Engineer returned thanks on behalf of the staff.
