In the course of discussion, it was stated that the l&ast that could he done for the boys who had done so much for us -was to show qur gratitude in • the erection of a memorial, and a motion was passed that the Brooklyn residents were strongly desirous of continuing the matter. Air Hood had shown much enthusiasm in the undertaking and deserved the support of the residents of that district. A committee was formed to go thoroughly into the matter and bring the undertaking to a successful conclusion, Thanks were accorded to Oolonel Mitchell for presiding.
