CITIZEN-SOLDIERS' CARNIVAL

GOOD PROGRESS RESPORTED. . The various committees that are working tor the forthcoming carnival have begun well and very satisfactory progress has been made. The entertainments committee (Captain R. H. Nimmo, chairman) has decided upon, a general scheme for concerts, varietv shows, band performances, etc. . Encouraging: offers of assistance have been received by the. committee, and the entertainments promise to be plentiful and of a very high order., In addition to holding concerts and other vocal and musical features, it is proposed to have something on every night in the large Town Hall in the nature of physical displays, dancing and so on. The entertainments committee will be glad of any further offers of help. •
