INVECROABGXLiL, January 31. • Mr Buxton, interviewed here, satd that the South Island Potato Growers’ Association had decided to piake an effort to compensate the growers who lost heavily last year. It was hoped that further efforts to lift the Australian embargo on potatoes would be successful, and, in addition, that the N.o.v Zealand 'Government {be asked to set up a pliant for the manufacture of starch, flour, motor-spirit, and other products from surplus potatoes
