MEMORIAL TO KING EDWARD UNVEILED. iaatffuHas and N.Z. Cable iaaodatfos DELHI, January 29. The Duke of Connaught unveiled in the grounds of the Queen Victoria memorial in Calcutta a memorial to King Edward, which has been erected by publio subscription by the peoples of Bengal, Behar and Orissa. It constitutes a marble arch surmounted by a bronze equestrian statue.. The balance of the large sum raised for the memorial is to be used for medical relief in the two provinces. A great * gathering listened to the Duke of Connaught’s glowing tribute to the late King-Emperor.
