GOVERNMENT PRECAUTIONS POLICE DISARMING THE POPULATION. NATIONALIST INCENDARXES. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright Australian and X.Z. Cable Association. The Premier, Signor Giolit'-i, has issued A decree embracing Modena, Ferrara, and Bologna cities and provinces revoking the permission to carry firearms. The prefects have been ordered to take immediate steps to effectively disarm the population. Labour’s chamber at Bologna has been destroyed by fire. Nationalists overpowered the military and set fire to every room and burned the palace to the ground. The buildings were hitherto the headquarters of Communistic Socialism of Italy. The contents destroyed included vast archives relating to the entire ramifications of the movemont throughout Italy. The cafes, theatres, and public resorts in the disturbed provinces have been closed. Armoured cars patrol Modena. Nationalists raided the premises of the journal “ Avanti” andT set fire to a hook store.
