The Warden (Mr Orr Walker) dealt with salts by the Oown for the cancellation of the Great Western Timber Company’s areas at Okarito, South Westland. Cancellation was decreed in all coses, with costs. The effect of the decision is that ten thousand acres of valuable timber land held by the company now reverts to the Crown, coming under the provisional State Forest regulations.
