LIFE IN A LOFT
RCLUSE LEAVES NEARLY .£2OOO. Rudolph Hermann Bock, tho recluse who was thought to bo destitute, and whose dead body was found hanging from a rafter in a loft in Blue’-s Point road, North Sydney, on January 6th, left JJ1948, according to evidence given at the inquest. This wealth, it waa, stated, included ft fixed deposit of in the Union Bank of .Australia, ana; «£»200 in the Government Savings Bank; while the sum of JCll in cash was found* in his pockets, and ,£B7 in notes in a box in tho loft. The police had been unable to trace Bock’s relatives, and the property would bo placed iu * the hands or the Public Trustee. Other evidence was given that Bock had paid 3s a week lor the loft, and had appeared m need of assistance. The coi oner's verdict was suicide. ■
