OHRISTC'HURCH, November 10. , The council of thu New Zealand Mo. tor Garago Proprietors' Association discussed tho proposal to commemorate victory in the war by forming a national highway through tho Dominion, and passed the following motion: —"That this council emphatically approves the national principle of the projected Victory Highway in concrete through tho two Islands of New Zealand, in commemoration of the whole of New Zealand's work for Victory."
