THE HOLLAXD-COOIv, CONTEST. To-morrow night at Palrnerston North, boxing enthusiasts are to bo afforded the opportunity of witnessing what promises to be an. excellent contest between Fritz Holland and George Cook for a purso of £3OO. Both men have been training hard for tho match, and a clean and scientific exhibition may be anticipated. In addition to the "star" attraction there will bo several preliminary bouts, chief among whioli will be the meeting of F. Desmond, amateur light, weight champion of New Zealand, with J. O'Kcefc, who is reported to be a hitrhly-promising lad. Visitors to the Masterton races will, it is exnectod. be back to Palrnerston in ample time to attend the tourney.
