43rd ANNUAL EXHIBITION. Tho annual Purebred Stock Show and Exhibition to be held at Carterton en the 27th instant, gives promise of being highly successful, and entries, which close to-morrow, are coming in satisfactorily. There will be a special class for concrete posts and the Union S.S. Company's Cup for the champion mare or filly in the North Island will, no doubt, bo stronglv competed for. Another feature which may bo expected to attain prominence will be the Now Zealand Ayrshire Cattle Breeders' championships, and the hof»t of challenge cups and trophies are expected to strengthen the entries and make the 43rd annual show even more successful than it» predoce«sor.
