The court found the loss was due to the wilful act of Captain Plummer, acting in concert with William James Jones, the owner, who insured' the vessel for £OO,OOO, though the value, including her cargo was only £17,000. “Jones recklessly, wickedly gambled not only for money, but in the lives of men.” 'He was ordered to pay_ the costs of the inquiry, namely, £2500, and Plummer’s certificate was cancelled. The evidence is being forwarded to the Public Prosecutor with a view _to bringing alleged criminals to Justice,
