LAND SETTLEMENT

MR ROBERT CULVER’S MISSION. Among tho arrivals in Wellington is Mr Robert "Culver, F.R.C.1., who represents the British Dominions Emigration Society of London. Mr Culver, who has already been to Canada, is on a mission to inquire what facilities exist for the settlement of English petiole on the land in New Zealand. His society has existed for upwards of thirty years, and has dono a great work in assisting British families to Canada. They now desire to extend their operations to Now Zealand. Mr Culver has brought letters of introduction to the Prime Minister and other authorities.
