NEW ZEALAND CHEESE
DISPOSAL OP THE OUTPUT. PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, October 8. Advice received by Air B. G. Lamb, secretary of tho South Island Dairy Association, states that eleven of tho factories in the Wellington district and one in Taranaki (with an output of 500 tons) have so far decided to consign their outputs of cheese to the New Zealand Producers’ Co-operative Association. Tho factories are: Belvedere, Parkvale, Carrington, Tauatohi, Papatawa, Tarawa, Hopelands, Rivorbank, United, Newman. K-uku and Tariki. As' showing the money value of the business of these factories alone credits with vno Bank of New Zealand amounting to minimum of £37,000 per month have now been established. A considerable number of factories in the North Island have not yet comes, to a decision whether they will consign to the New Zealand Co-operativo Producers’ Association or sell outright. Mr Lamb says that, so far as the South Island is concerned, ho will bo able to consign approximately 4000 tons this season to the Producers’ Association and there is a possibility that this amount will be increased. Letters of credit have been established with the Dunedin banks to meet the payments on this amount of 4000 tons.
