IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT'S OFFER.PBR PRESS ASSOCIATION. PALMERSTON N.', September 4., A conference of representatives of the dairy companies in Wellington province . met at Palmerston North yesterday. A motion was carried endorsing the recommendation of the Butter Committee to accept the offer of 230 s per civt, from the Imperial, Government for tho exportable surplus. and also recommending the comnjittee to inquire into the position regarding; the points payroetnt in the Australian contract, so as to includethe same system in the New Zealand contract.
