QUARTERLY MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE. Tho quarterly meeting of the Woodville Licensing Committee was held yesterday, with Mr Free, S.M. as chairman. Licenses were granted to C. VV. Grenside (Post Office Hotel). C. O. King (Commercial, Woodville), J. Fraser (Club Hotel), Clifford Thompson (Masonic, Dannevirke), P. J. Barry (Makuri Hotel), Thomas Gardiner (Wimbledon), M. M. Caulton (Mangatera Hotel). Transfers wore granted: H. Dooley to C. Harrison (Commercial, Pahiatua), P. Barry to C. Cliristonsen (Maburi Hotel), H. Parker to George Christen3en (Masonic, Woodville), V. Thompson to H. H. West CMu.vpnic, Dannevirke), C. Merrylees to H. Ilurst (Junction Hotel, Dannevirke).

An application from J. Hathaiway for a temporary'transfer was adjourned till next quarterly mooting.—Press Association.
