PROCEEDINGS IN DIVORCE.
A sequel to the recent "Wanganui sensation in which Mayor Charles Ewina Mackay figured so disastrously, took place at the Supreme Court yesterday, when his wife, Isobel Mary Agnes Mackay (Sir John Findlay, K.C, and ' Mr Taylor), proceeded before the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) for a dissolution of her marriage to the respondent, . ' . .» Mr It- L'Estrange Edwards, who appeared for Mackay, did not oppose tho petition, which, on the application of Sir John Findlay, was heard i" camera.
A decree nisi, to be moved absolut* at the expiration of three months, w« granted.
