WEATHER PROSPECTS
(By the Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (j p.ro yesterday) are for variable breezes with moderate south-easterlies to easterlies ruling northward? of Westport und Kaikoura, a£id northorlies elsewhere. Cool, changeable conditions and scattered showers may be expected, especially along the Hast Coast, but fair to cloudy weather as likely to predominate. Barometer little movement, unsteady in the south.(Detaila on last page.) y
