The Wairau, cargo-laden from Blenheim for Wellington, was still bar-bound in the Wairau river yesterday. It is reported that the third steamer of the General Steamship Corporation Line to visit New Zealand sailed from San Francisco on August 25th. • The U.S. and A. Line chartered steamer Canastota is to leave hero to-morrow for Brisbane to put out the remainder of her New York cargo in Australia. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruapehu is to eail from Wellington on Wednesday for Auokland with remainder' of cargo from London. The vessel will load at Auokland and Wellington for London. The Government steamer Hineinoa, which is undergoing overhaul on the Wellington patent slip, is expeoted to get away on her round trip of the northern lighthouses about the end of next week. The Karamu is due at Wellington, today from Greymouth with coal for the MiramaT gasworks..': The Union Company .advise that the Rosamond is due at Wellington to-mor-row morning from Greymouth with timber and general cargo. . . The Komata is due at Wellington this evening, coal-laden, from Westport. She Is expected to sail on Tuesday on the re turn trip to Weetport, taking passengers. The steamer Wootton is expected at Wellington about next Thursday from Lyttelton with general cargo. The New Zealand Shipping Companj advise that the departure of their linor Ruahine from Wellington for Southampton and London via Panama has- been postponed from this afternoon until daybreak to-morrow.
