The other night an entrance was effected, evidently by * a burglar, to a rosidence. Shortly after 12 o'clock the lady, who was in bed, was awakened «by someone bumping- against the wasbstand in the room. In one case tho burglars crawled under tho house and sawed off an entrance through tho floor.
