POLISH PEACE DELEGATES
NON-ARRrVAL AT MINSK. LLOYD GEORGE'S LETTER TO KAME^ T EFF. . . Reuter's Telesrram. * . LONDON, August 12. Mr Lloyd Georgo hag sent a letter to Kamaneff acknowledging the receipt
of the communication from Moscow announcing the non-arrival of the Polish delegate* st Minsk. Mr Lloyd George informs Kameneff that he received a message from the Polish Government, stating that until 9 in the evening of August 10th it had not received a reply from the Soviet to its wireless message of August sth, , consenting to negotiate for an armistice and peace preliminaries. Mr Lloyd George also states that British representatives in Warsaw confirm tho failuro of tho Polish authorities to get into touch with Moscow, and he concludes by -expressing tho hope that Karaoneffi will see that immediate instructions are issued *or the reception and passage through the lines to Minsk of the Polish peace and armistice delegation, and that Russian wireless stations OTe instructed to receive and transmit Polish messages without delay. Mr Lloyd George sayg ho cannot help stating that this constant refusal to receive messages from Warsaw while tho Soviet army is steadilr advancing, cannot fail to' aronso > justifiable suspicion, and is not conducive to a prompt and peaceful solution of the present crisis. Tchitcherin, Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs, states that the Bolsheviks, on capturing Siedlitz (60 miles east 'of Warsaw) found the missing Polish delegation there, and sent them to Minsk. .
