1 RESULT OF ELECTIONS. The result of the elections in con-, noction with the "Wellington Education Board was announced yesterday. In tho Wellington City urban area the retiring members were Messrs 11. A. Wright, M.P., and J. P. Shand. Mr Wright, who was not a •nominee of. the School C'onimitteos' Association, headed the poll. No election was necessary in three wards. Mr E. P. Rishworth was reelected unopposed as representative of tho Hutt-Petbne urban area, Mr W. H.. Field M.P., for. the Hutt-Horo-whenua Ward of the rural area, and Mr E. H. Penny for the Marlborough Ward of tho rural area.
