Among tho guests of the Industrial League and Council at their half-yearly banquet in London war, Mi - E. Gl Theo«lore, the Premier of Queensland. The Premier, in replying to tho toast of hia health, said ho had come to England on behalf of his Government, hoping to ■ place orders which run into .£500,000,000 worth of raw materials. If the ipeoplo of tho Old Country did not watch, some of their chief customers would have to go elsewhere with their orders.
