WATERSIDERS' MEETING

The monthly "stop-work" meeting of the Wellington -Waterside Workers Union was held in the A store waiting room vesterday morning, commencing at 8 o'clock. Mr L. Glover, jpresident, occupied the chair, and there was a full attendance of members. , Mr Smart, returning officer, maoie ins report on the annual election. It was decided that the coal 'section and disputes committee election shall go to a second ballot. The date of the ballot is to be fixed by the officers. • The meeting decided to send .£ooo to tho Barrier miners" iund, and that » demonstration and open-air meeting be hold, with the watersiders' band in attendance". ■-..,:.
