FALL OFF A TRAM MAN RECEIVES SERIOUS IN. JURIES. A married man named Harry Jacksou, residing at 10, Drummond street, Newtown, fell off a truru on Lambie.-t quay yesterday at 2.30 p.m. and was picked up in an unconscious condition, rio was taken to the hospital and was admitted there at o p.m. Jackson was .found to bo suffering from injuries to his head and concussion. _ Ho i cx-overod consciousness last evening ■ and was ooTOcwhufc easier at a late hour last night. WATERSIDER INJURED. A serious mishap befell a waterside worker named Harold Williams, a married man, residing at No. 5, Queen ytreet, Petone', who fell backwards in. to tho hold of the liner Kumara last evening. He was taken to tlie hospital, where he was admitted at 7.30 p.m. Williams was flound to bo suffering from an injury to his spine and slight injuries to his hoad. SCHOOLGIRL BREAKS A LEG. A schoolgirl named lreno Harkins fell off a i'unco at the Girls' High School, Pipitea street, yesterday afternoon, and fractured her left leg. She was admitted to the hospital at 4.30 p.m.
