NEW SOUTH WALES CHAMPIONSHIP. ' J. R. Hooper, the ex-Auclslander, has again made good his title of champion cuoist of New South Wales. In the final game he me{ Sharler. In the opening session Hooper, besides scoring 91 and 62, was responsible for a run of Hi; a beautiful exhibition of all-nound billiards, and he ran to his points (600) when his opponent's total wae only 250. Starting with a debit of SSO in the second session, gharler finished up only 36 behind—Hooper ltiZ, Sharler 1106. His 134 and 128 were masterpieces of red-ball -striking, and he had the fine average of 30.16, just .54 behind what tho late John Roberts said was the averago for a professional in a world's championship game. Playing solidly at tho final session, Hooper won by ISOO to 14SM He averaged- 10.40, whilo Sharler awraged only 5.90,
