Eight men attacked Sergeant Leery and Constable Barry after obtaining tho mail at tho Ratliduff Post Office. Lcory_ was struck by four bullets, and is in a critical condition. The assailants took official letters. Sergeant Mooney, while returning frem Dunglow Post Office with letters, was critically wounded by two hundred pellets from a shotgun fixed from a vacant house. BELFAST CELEBRATIONS. LONDON, July 12. In view of to-day’s celebrations, Belfast and other towns are filled with troops, and there is little likelihood of serious trouble. Effigies of De Valera were hung on many lamp-post*.
