Following was the result of the Grand National Steeplechase (three miles and' a, furlong): lol.ius, 9.13 (H. Thompson) ......... 1 Kinlark, 11.13 (Moon). 2 Doiran, 10.6 (Mooney) 3 There woro eighteen starters. "Woc-100 was first away. Aintree. fell at the abattoirs and Cobram fell opposite the stand the first time round. . lolaus took charge at tho bridge and jumped the last fence in advance of Doiran, behind coming Compromise, Kinlark, Sir Prim, and Epictctus. lolaus drew away with ease and won by seven leng'ths, four lengths between second and third. Sir Prim T?as fourth a.nd Kybas last.. Time, Gmin 15}scc, a record for. the race.
