THE MINING DISPUTE
STILL UNSETTLED. The points in dispute between the _ Miners’ Federation and the Mine- 3 Owners’ Association still remain unsettled. The secretary of the federation (Mr J. Arbuekle) lias received from the Prime Minister certain suggestions that have been put forward by the mine-owners, and these will bo discussed this morning by the annual conference of the federation, now sitting in Wellington.
