HOUSE SHORTAGE AT PETONE
The borough inspector pf Pcione (Mr \V. B. Gough) informed tbo council at its mooting last evening that Petono, in common with other parts of tho Dominion, was suffering from a shortage of suitable dwellings. There wore a number pf instances where two families were occupying tho same house, and it required at least 100 dwellings to givo any appreciable relief.
