Joseph Hertz, Chief Rabbi of tho United Hebrew Congregations of the British Empire, is to leave in October to make a pastoral tour of the Dominions. The tourwill he the first of its kind. He will arrive in Australia in December. Ho will visit the principal Jewish communities to discuss organisaton, religious education, marriage and divorce, and also will urge the introduction of a scheme for establishing a College of Jewish Learning where overseas and other students may be trained as rabbis.
