The Australian • Press Association understands that the _ Fzjanco-Briush incident has been practically closed. M. Millcrand, in a further Note, recognises the urgency of maintaining the solidarity of the Allies, and agrees that France should have secured the Allies’ approval before advancing. It is probable that M. Millerand will make a statement in the Chamber tonight, which will completely remove the misunderstanding. Mr Bonar Law is expected to speak similarly in the House of Commons tomorrow. LOOTING AT ESSEN. “REDS” DO MUCH DAMAGE. (Received April 14, 8.50 p.m.) BERLIN, April 13. Damage to the extent of ten million marks was done in Essen by the “Beds’ " looting operations.
