A RATING ERROR
HOUSE ON WRONG SECTION
At tho meeting of the Hntt County Council yesterday it was resolved to refund £1 Os 4d excess paid in rates by Mr C.*H. Howard on a property belonging to him at Day’s Bay. The clerk to the council stated that a Government valuer had in error put a house down on Air Howard's section instead of an adjoining section. 11ns had resulted in an excessive valuation of £l5O on Air Howard’s property, and on tho excessive valuation he had paid a year’s rates. •
