STRIKE MAJORITY UNLIKELY.

Australian and N Z. CaWa Association. LONDON, April 11. Ballot returns from the English districts to date show that there are majorities against a miners' strike- Scotland, Lancashire, and Cheshire are expected to favour a strike for which South Wales cast a. majority of 49,020. Complete returns oro not likely to result in the requisite two-thirds' majority for a strike being obtained.
