MEETING OF COUNCIL. Sir J. Malcolm (count}- engineer) r». ports: Thoro ia still a set of largo pipes wanted to take the place of a small bridge near tho end of the Waihoanga road; this small bridge I had to redeck with planking- from the big Otaki bridge. I got sufficient evidence to satisfy me that tho Te Manuao road at Otaki is a legal road. It will cost abous £IOO to form and metal it. The main toad in the Otaki riding >s standing tho traffic well.
