. BERHAMPORE CLUB. i ' Tha annual meeting of the Berhampore Football Club was held on Tuesday evening in the Masonio Hall, Berhampore, there being present 72 members. Mr A. A. Whitelaw was chairman. The election of officers resulted as follow:—Patron, Mr Geo. Flux; president, Mr A. A. Whitelaw; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr 0. S. Russell; assistant secretary, Mr A. Pope; delegate to Rugby Union, Messrs J. Moffitt, H. Bedell, C. Russell; management committee, Messrs 8. Standen, N. Walters, A.. Howard, J. Wilson, J. Parker, A. Hayes, E; Whiterod; hon '. auditor, Mr B. Edwards. After gome lengthy discussion it was unanimously decided to enter a team in the senior competition. The club has held the position of runners-up in the different grades since the formation in 1813.
Medals were presented to the following players:—Junior grade, N. Walters, W. Watson, D. Matheson; third-grade, H. Charles, T. Bell, L. Lindsay; fourthgrade, E. Mason, L. Welsford; fifthgrade, D. Millar, W. Nichols. It was decided to hold a practice on Saturday on the old Duppa street ground. The club has a credit balance of .£47 2s 7d to commence the coming season with.
