HIGHLAND DANCING
Mr W. " FJrslune Boyd, ono of tha founders of the. Wellington Scottisli Society, and Pipo Band, is at present resident at Greymouth. Mr Boyd, who Is well known locally a* * teacher of Highland dancing, has had phenomenal success lately, with his pupils. At the last Wellington Competitions. -Mr Boyd created a record, his pupils securing thirty-two wins. He followed this bv sweeping the : boards at successive Caledonian sports gatherings at Ohakune. Auckland. Masterton, Raetihi,. Frankton Junction, Marlborough, Huntorville, Palmerston ftorth, \Vangariui, Turakina, and Taihape. At a "recent gathering m Greymouth, Mr Boyd's pupils secured twenty-two wSds. There has been a great revival of Interest in Highland dancing in the Dominion of late, and in tiiia the successful results of Mr Boyd s teaching have played a. prominent part. Helms done much to raise, the art of Highland dancing to its proper plane
