NAURU PHOSPHATES
PURCHASE OF PRIVATE INTERESTS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association* (Received March 12, 10 p.m.) LONDON, March 11. When the Nauru agreement was completed in Paris in June, 1919, it was estimated that it would cost £3,000,000 to buy out the Pacifia Phosphates Company's interests. NW gotiations for the purchase are pro*: ceeding, and it is understood a settletnent is likely to be reached which will enable the agreement to operate from July next. It is repd!?ed in the city that tho purohaso-money is likely to exceed, the . original estimate by nearly 80 per cent.
