The small steamer Manaroa, which is under offer to a Dunedin syndicate, made a good trip down from Lyttelton last-week-end. The vessel arrived at Dunedin on Sunday afternoon, and averaged 81 knots. Tho Manaroa has just completed her annual survey at Lyttelton, where alterations were also made to her Machinery and the propeller adjusted. The Union Company advise that their cargo steamer Waikawa left Newcastle at midnight on Tuesday for AVellington with about 8000 tons of coal for tho Railway Department and for bunkering vessels at AVellington.
