GAS QUESTION
PETONB AND LOWER HLTT SHOULD COMBINE. A conference was held yesterday between the. Board of Trade and representatives of the Pcitone and Lower Hutt Borough Councils with regard to the price of gas charged to the latter and Petone. The proceedings were not open to the Press. It is understood that the Board of Trade made a proposal ,to the two council’s in the nature of joint ownership of the works; and that the proposal is to be submitted to the two councils.
